Conference Headshot Booth in Boston
A conference puts hundreds of professionals in one hall, and plenty of them are still using a LinkedIn photo from years ago. A headshot booth fixes that on the show floor, and it gives people a reason to stop at your stand.
I set up a full headshot studio at the event and photograph attendees one after another, 2-4 minutes each, for $2,875 for 16 hours. There is no cap on how many people come through.
How the booth works
I arrive before the doors open and build the set: background, lights, camera on a fixed mark. From then on nothing moves. Every attendee stands in the same spot under the same light, so the photo from the first hour matches the photo from the last.
People walk up, I coach them through a few frames, and they are back on the floor in a couple of minutes. Nobody needs to book a slot, and nobody needs to know what to do with their hands. That part is my job.
How many people per hour
At 2-4 minutes a person, a steady line moves at roughly 15 to 30 people an hour. Foot traffic sets the pace, so put the booth near registration, coffee or the main session doors.
Floor space and power
About 15 by 8 feet and two standard outlets. A corner of the exhibit hall works, so does a breakout room or a wide corridor. No windows needed.
Lighting
I bring all of it. Convention halls are lit for crowds, not faces: overhead, mixed colour, often too dim. The booth runs on its own studio lighting, so the room's lights do not show up in the photo.
How attendees get their photos
After the event, every attendee's photos go into an online gallery within 3 business days. The time at the booth is spent photographing people, not sorting files.
Pricing
The conference headshot station is $2,875 for 16 hours, with unlimited attendees. That is the open-attendance rate: whoever walks up gets photographed. The 16 hours can run as two eight-hour days.
If you need a fixed headcount scheduled and guaranteed, for example every employee at a company meeting, that is quoted separately and usually runs higher. Get a quote for your event.
Office shoots and full event coverage
Photographing your own staff at your office is a different setup. See team headshots. If you also need the keynote, the panels and the exhibit floor covered, that is handled by the sister company, Corporate Event Photography Boston. Send attendees the clothing guide in the pre-event email. It costs one line and it shows in the photos.

Yes. Speakers, sessions and the exhibit floor are covered through the sister company, Corporate Event Photography Boston. Half-day coverage starts at $795 and a full day at $1,595.
